Original wood carving of a cougar resting on a rock. The wood used is yellowheart, (a South American wood), and the entire piece is finished with tung oil.

Carving dimensions are approximately 7 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 8 1/4".

Each carving is signed and numbered on the bottom by Joan. When she completed her first piece at age 13 she marked it on the bottom of the base as #1, her second as #2 and so on. The number on each piece indicates it's place out of all the carvings she has ever completed.

To dust, apply a light coat of lemon oil with a paint brush and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
